Let Them Be Themselves

If you’ve ever thought, “I’ll book a session once my dog is better trained,” or “Maybe when they calm down a little…” — this one’s for you.

You don’t need a “perfectly trained” dog. You just need your dog. We don't love them because they have impecable manners, we love them because they are uniquely themselves.

You may want perfect portraits too—we all want to see our dogs at their most beautiful - and we’ll absolutely get those—but that’s not the dog you share your life, or couch, with. So we need to also capture that other dog.

That dog zooms in circles for no reason at all. That dog chases shadows, barks at their own reflection, or tries to eat bubbles. They proudly bring you sticks the size of small trees. They give you that look when they’ve clearly been digging in the yard—face covered in dirt, pretending they know nothing. That's who I want to photograph.

At your session, there’s no pressure to behave or pose “just so.” This isn’t school picture day — it’s their time to shine. However they show up — curious, zoomy, stubborn, shy, snuggly — I'm here for it.

That’s the good stuff.

Safe but free: the magic of the extra-long leash

Most dogs don’t have great recall in wide open spaces, especially new ones. That’s why we use my extra-long leash — it gives them room to run and play safely, without worry.

They get to express themselves.
You get peace of mind.
And I get those perfect action shots of your pup mid-bounce, ears flying.

(And don’t worry — that leash? It disappears like magic in the final photos.)

BEFORE

AFTER

When you look back at these photos, you won’t be thinking about perfect posture or clean paws.

You’ll remember the way they made you laugh.
The way they launched into the air when they saw a treat.
The way they took over your personal space when you sat on the ground.

That’s what we’re capturing.

Let’s make some magic (and maybe a little mayhem)

So bring the bonkers. Bring the chaos, the cuddles, and that special spark that makes your pet yours.

I’ll bring the camera.
And together, we’ll turn their everyday antics into forever memories.

🐾 Let them be bonkers. Let them be them.
And let’s make it beautiful.
