Photo Essay: Bird Dog Field Trials in Western Pennsylvania

I had a fabulous time at the Mid-Atlantic Hunting Spaniel Club Field Trials held at Spring Lane Hunt Club in early April. It was wonderful to be out watching dogs who are devoted to their people and loving the job they were bred to do.

Several weather patterns moved through but the two constants were wind and cold. There was some rain and even sleet at one point. The dogs couldn't have been happier and the tails never stopped wagging. Mother Nature sure knows how to bring the drama to an image so I was happy, too!
