Please meet Kimber, an Irish Wolfhound!

Yes, an Irish Wolfhound is in the calendar - that's worth the price of admission right there.

I couldn't resist getting a selfie with Beth and Kimber.

Kimber was such a dear soul, and I loved this sentence Beth wrote about her in the calendar questionnaire, "She is a 7 year old, 130lb Irish wolfhound so activity really isn't her thing ... unless it involves snacks." Even so you can see what a gentle giant she is, politely waiting to be told she can eat her treat. Love her!

Hot Hot Hot

It was very hot the day of our shoot and taking Kimber's age, size and coat into consideration we kept the session very short. I had her stand in the shade as I figured out the next series of shots and we were ready to pop her in the air conditioned car if need be. She was a total star and happy to work for treats and we quickly got great photos of her.
